Jesse Prather
Three-For-Three In Early F Production Title Defense; Another Prather
Visits Victory Circle
TOPEKA, Kan. (May 20, 2007) -- Prather Racing's Jesse
Prather is a perfect three-for-three in his SCCA F Production National
Championship defense so far, with the June Heartland Park Topeka race on
tap next.
After sweeping the double national at Texas World
Speedway in March, Prather had a hard-fought flag-to-flag win May 20 at
Mid-America Motorplex, topping fellow Prather Racing stable-mates Eric
Prill and Bob Bramlage.
A third member of the Prather Racing family, Kent and
Kathy's youngest son Todd (29), captured his first-ever SCCA Club Racing
win May 20 at Mid America Motorplex, wheeling his Mazda Miata to an
Improved Touring A-class win.
Bramlage earned his first-ever National win in April
at Hallett. Along with Prill's wins at MSR Houston (February) and Gateway
(April), Prather Racing is now six for seven in F Production races this
season. Prill (42 points), Prather (36 points) and Bramlage (26 points)
currently sit first through third in F Production points for the Midwest
Division.
Kent Prather still sits atop the Midwest Division G
Production point standings from the strength of his two wins in Texas. He
will return to action in his MG A at Heartland Park in mid-June.
